Led Into The Wilderness

This week’s Lectio invites us into the wilderness with Jesus.

Led by the Spirit, Jesus enters a season of hunger and testing. In a moment of physical weakness, His identity is questioned — “If you are the Son of God…”

We, too, experience seasons that feel empty, stretched, or uncertain. This reflection gently reminds us that hunger does not mean failure. Wilderness does not mean abandonment. Sometimes it is the very place where God deepens our roots.

As you pray through this passage, consider:

When I feel empty… who am I turning to?

What truly sustains me?

Take time to sit with the Word, listen in silence, and let truth steady your heart.
