The Shepherd Who Lead

In today’s Lectio Divina, we reflect on the opening words of Psalm 23 — one of the most beloved passages in Scripture. David speaks not as a poet observing nature, but as a shepherd who understands both the vulnerability of sheep and the faithful care required to guide them.

As we meditate on these verses, we are invited to consider what it means to live under the Shepherd’s care. The Lord leads us to places of rest, restores what has become weary within us, and directs our steps along paths that align with His character.

This meditation invites us to slow our pace, release our need to control the journey, and remember that we are not meant to navigate life alone.

The Shepherd is present.

The invitation is simply to follow.
