Jesus told us in John 16 that in this world we will have tribulation but to be of good cheer (have joy!) because He has overcome the world. The Lord knows we will experience sorrow in this life, but even in our sorrow we can know the joy of the Lord.

He’s got the whole world in His hands and that means you and whatever concerns you! How does this truth release joy into your life even in the midst of tribulation?
